MOVIE: Office Space
Office Space is the quintessential office job movie. Writer/director Mike Judge (creator of Beavis & Butthead and co-creator King Of The Hill) was very disappointed by the movie. Office Space barely recouped its small budget of $10 million, and to this day... Judge is unable to watch the movie for all the painful memories. Nonetheless, Office Space is an unwitting classic which captures the absurdities and nuances of cubicle culture like no other movie.
I write this post, not to promote Office Space, rather to bring your attention to a website inspired by it. BullshitJob.com is a website where anyone can share their own personal Office Space type experiences. On the site you will find first-hand accounts, along with company emails and memos testifying to the universal truth that office jobs... generally suck. And bosses and managers... suck even more.

That site is genious. I am an especially big fan of the tribute to office space with all the sound samples in there. Who knows, maybe someone out there will be smart enough to use some of those samples in a new rhyme.
