THIS IS THE FUNNIEST SHOW IN THE WHOLE WORLD...BETTER WHEN YOU ARE DRUNK...EVEN BETTER WHEN YOU ARE STONED!!!!

This used to be one of my favorite shows when I was 6 years old back in the late 80's. It was nice seeing it again here in America, however I think that the show will be a lot better if they just show the whole game instead of just bits of it.

On many different levels has this show made me laugh until my underpants turn brown. I don't recomend watching this show after eating Taco Bell. Trust me, you'll laugh hard enough to feel the spackle. How about a disclaimer that says 'wear diapers when watching this show'

Takeshi is "Beat" Takeshi, aka Takeshi Kitano, the director and star of so many violent movies -- sonatine, fireworks, brother, battle royale, and more. I forgot he was a comedy TV host when he was young!

I've been told that even now Takeshi Kitano is still more famous as a comedian in Japan, and it's only over here that he's mainly associated with his action films (the latest of which is a remake of Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman, and I CAN'T WAIT for that one.. you can find the trailer online).

After watching the program at my sister's for the first time, I found that I couldn't get enough of it. Since I don't have cable at home, does anybody know where I can go to purchase tapes of the program?

For the price of buying the tapes, you could probabably get several months of cable. They repeat the show quite a bit, and sometimes occasionally have marathons.

I haven't heard of any copies for sale. You might also try a p2p network such as Kazaa, Lime Wire, etc.

This show is great, I love watching it with my son and daughter, it makes it that much more funny when you look over and see what you think is snot coming from your sons nose, but in reality its a stream of tears. just in the age to know what "man-marbles" are.

Now that this imaginative, creative, and inventive show (dubbing-wise) has finally gained this much well-deserved attention: get ready for the turd-in-the-punchbowl negative criticisms (i.e. outrage) from those tight-assed anal retentives who so desperately want the world and their culture to remain EXACTLY as it was in 1950, when they were about 9 weeks from the onset of puberty!

I thought the whole point of the Spike network was to bring back some of that good-old anti-PC, 1950s-style chauvinism.

This show is awsome! I can't say any thing bad about it except the fact that I can't hear a word cause I'm laughing to hard. I really like the one where Vic(I think) is going to get kicked off the show so then he trys to get all gangsta and stuff. I was on the floor laughing. The best part about this show is that it never gets old no matter how many times you watch it.

The BEST episode EVER was the Halloween episode. The "Sinkers and Floaters" game in that episode is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The totem pole (flapping its totem wings!)...the big green ball thing...hysterical.

I would have to agree with Vicki...best episode ever. They shouldn't change one darn thing about that show. And, from what I have read, there is no MXC merchandise out yet, but they hope to put some DVD's out in the future. Maybe we need to let Spike TV know how much we all like the show....I would love a DVD set of this. =)

Can't get enough of this show! I can't quit laughing at the comments and something about ppl hurting themselves is funny to me.

Since we accidentally started watching it on a Sunday afternoon (2½ hours later), it has been a favorite of ours. We don't laugh that hard together over anything. Our favorite thing is listening to all the occupations the "guys" come up with.

The best games are: Log Drop, Sinkers and Floaters(the rock hopping one), and Swashbucklers(its only been shown once though i think). What a few have called annoying -- the repeated "right you are" mantra of Ken Blankenship is in fact a hilarious send up of other play by play and color commentary announcers' tendency to overuse certain catch phrases. It is an amazingly inciteful cultural satire! The fact that they use a goofy, obscure Japanese game show to make the point only adds to the sheer genius of the whole affair.

The lines yelled by the contestants in the background before starting kill me. I just watched the Former Olympians episode, and nearly lost it when the "German" contestant just blurted out "HoGAN" before getting mulchified on the Log Drop.

what the hell....people are complaining about the voice overs? I fined it hard to belive that there is any one out there shy of 65 years old that would want to watch the original show with no dubing. AND it would be kind of hard since its in japan speek hehe. I like when they run tho the walls of pain or whatever, some of the doors are solid some are paper... but the funnyest part of that game is when they hit a paper door that has a net on the other side so the get siked that they got a paper door but then the net gets them lol.

Captain Tenneal (Feb. 23 post) I saw that episode w/Kenny playing Boulder dash and I never laughed so freakin' hard in my life. C'mon when one of the very first lines in the show has the Bobaganoosh guy (standing next to Guy Ladouche and wearing his turbine) speaking with an Irish accent saying "Top of the morning to ya!", you simply can't stop laughing the entire show!! And Kenny trying to *hug* that boulder and then hearing his neck 'snap' when the boulder hit him and they added sound effects!!! OMG, I couldn't even see because I was crying so much!!

This show makes me sorry I had to drop the cable. I was exposed to this show during a christmas vacation with my parents-The first thing I saw was, INDEED(I miss Kaientai) Kenny trying out the rock-crushing jumpsuit-One of the most brutally funny things ever filmed. But there was another great contest on this episode-the game where the contestants have to hold on to a gold volleyball and keep their balance on a swaying rope bridge. This one cute contestant must've been hit at least 15 times by cannonfire raining up from the ground. After the third time she took a hit on her backside, one of the dynamic duo commented, "boy she sure can take it in the butt a lot". And of course the cheap line that resulted when one female contestant said she "wd-40's" and loosens up slot car race sets, causing the reply of "And who wants to play with a tight, dirty slot." Is this show on dvd yet?

Oh god, just had my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was in tears because I was laughing so hard, yet crying from HURTING; because I was laughing. Tried not to laugh... but it is imposable. Why did I suffer just to watch that stupid show? Because it is the funniest thing I have ever seen! Even my "no sense of humor" wife laughs!!! Great family fun...

What can I say about this show that hasn't already been said. It is the funniest (and cleverest) show ever on television. I've recorded some marathons, and it only gets funnier each time I watch it. The sexual innuendo is priceless. I keep trying to convince my wife to watch it, but she's not sold yet; but I'm not sure she ever really had a sense of humor. INDEED!!

This show is great I think its my favorite show ever. But the only thing that I don't like is to many reruns I want to see new episodes and challenges. But still its a great show. The Mountain Of Doom Kicks ass people always get hurt there.

I could not believe what I was seeing when I saw this show for the first time. I never laughed so hard at a TV show before. I am so hooked, and so is everyone else I know who watches MXC. After a number of wines while watching the Lakers-Spurs game tonight (during which my wife fell asleep leaving me twiddling my thumbs), I finally succumbed to typing in my last name on Google and lo and behold this site popped up.
While I'm flattered by so much credit for the show (some of it hopefully deserved) a tremendous amount of credit must go to the actors Vic Wilson, Chris Darga, John Cervenka and Mary Wilson for their part in developing the show. They are the truly funny ones -- my contribution was merely collating all their suggestions and pitchers, giving it some shape and focus early on. Paul Abeyta must get a lot of credit as well for not only being funny but, more importantly, for being persistent regarding geting this show on the air.
No writers are listed because we had no budget for writers. All the Exec Producers and Producers are writers. While some stuff is ad libbed during recording, pretty much everything is written, re-written, timed to the lip movements and polished again. But again, the performers are great and don't get enough credit. Especially Mary who is as funny and dirty as any guy, but in a sprightly, elegantly feminine way (whatever the hell that means).
We really do intend to get some DVDs out, but the legalities are shall we say, challenging.

There has never been a show this great on tv as long as I can recall. Kenny and Vic are simply classic and I look forward to many episodes in the future. The best writers in tv history. Keep on bringing it!!

I love the show, but I have been disappointed that in the current season, my family members have not been represented. The Bobbaganousch family has been a mainstay on the program, and the producers have apparently seen fit to keep us on the bench. Very disappointed.

Please let me know when the dvd is available. In north america we need this kind of loose humor. Is the best show to come home, grab a drink and laugh your head off without needing to tie together a plot or even remember about it. You just have to pay attention. And laugh hard.

that show on the baseball field, when that guy tries to do a 360 forward flip and gets stuck head first in the mud. funniest thing I ever saw. the guy was dying for air, but we were dying of laughter !!!
