On Windows, I think the latest winamp (5?) probably plays ogg files? On Mac, I have no idea. Linux and other free systems: xmms does a nice job.

"Here's the handwritten note that came with this one: "Dark Helmut is a badass mixtape. It is 199 tracks in 35 min 16 sec. It is a project aimed at music and social concepts. It took me nearly 1 year to complete and is reminiscent of mixtapes such as Mr Dibbs' Turntable Scientifics. The mixtape was made with 2 turntables and a digital 8 track. All content comes from vinyl and movies." The kid delivers- anybody who sets it off with "do the truffle shuffle- NOW!" is ok in our books. And yeah, 199 tracks sounds about right, but this is no messy juvenile stew- more like layers that keep getting piled on top of each other, quick dialogue fixes talking to each other, little break sections, and winding themes that tie the whole thing together. Mixtape composition of the traditional, hard earned variety."
