VH1 Don't Stop! Part 2
Not one to out-dork myself, I think I'm gonna chill out on the running commentary and just make a few side comments and drop the all-important roster.
Part 2 was definitely more of what you would expect from a documentary on mid-1980s hip hop. In keeping with the times, the focus was on mass media exposure and big crossover successes. RUN DMC, LL Cool J, Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff, Public Enemy, and a little bit of Biz, Big Daddy Kane, and Eric B. & Rakim.
What really stood out, again, was some of the never-before-seen archival footage. Will Smith on masturbating to Spiderman comic books, Russell Simmon's stoned ramblings, DMC talking about getting stoned and kicking raps in the basement, etc, etc...
