Damn Generous Europeans
I would like to suggest another way of looking at this.
Clearly the U.S. appears stingy in comparison to wealthy, progressive European countries. But this is an unfair comparison. We are not a European country!
When compared to the amount of money most 3rd world countries give to other 3rd world countries... the U.S. is extremely generous!
Also, we help poor countries by invading them and getting rid of stingy leaders and help open them up to foreign business aid.
In short, we help countries by helping them to help themselves help us.
