Herc, Caz, Busy, Melle
Last night on Friday Night Flavas, the Fantastic Four (Mr. Choc, J-Rocc, Truly Odd, C-Minus) witnessed an unusually deep lineup of guests.
Chace Infinite (Self Scientific)
Aloe Blacc (Emanon)
Dr. Oop aka Droop Capone
Blue (sp?)
Evidence
Defari
Wildchild
Madlib (who DJd for bit)
DJ Romes
Phil the Agony
Mitchy Slick
Krondon
Will Blast
...and a few others I probably missed while cooking dinner.
I couldn't figure out why so many heads rolled through in one night. But this might explain it...
Kool Herc
Grandmaster Caz
Busy Bee
Melle Mel
...and KRS-One???
Kool Herc, Grandmaster Caz, Busy Bee, Melle Mel interview and emceeing
And I've got a question. Is it true that KRS-One is banned from Power 106?? In the interview, they allude to a memo at the station indicating that KRS-One is "not allowed at the station" or something like that.
I'm in the process of encoding Madlib's DJ set. I'm not sure the levels or reception came out too well. My setup is kinda janky.

Have you recorded the entire show? I'd really like to hear it! As I'm from europe I don't have the possibility to listen to the fantastik four shows. I got a heavyweights mix tape which is dope and always wondered what the show is like... Again, if you have the show - no matter what quality - I'd really appreciate a mp3 encode of it. You can contact me via email or AIM: jussnoone
looking forward to hear from you...

dope! thanks for the mix, sounds great so far! what about the show you talked about in this post? the line-up looks insane. could you pass me a mp3 encode of it so i can play it on the iPod? (i could provide ftp space in case you don't know how to transfer it...)

Glad you like it. The recording quality of the rest of this show was not good (lots of static).
As far as encoding mp3s, I'm really busy putting up ads around the site here, looking for a job, doing laundry, etc, etc... I'm happy to encode some mp3s eventually, but you should provide some motivation for me. ;) I mean trading. I am happy to suggest commercially available mixes. As well, if you don't have J-Rocc's Sex Machine Today... that is a good place to start.
