While visiting my parents in southern Orange County, California, I noticed a "terrorist hunting permit" on the bumper of a truck.
Notice how the word "terrorist" inevitably gets replaced with "Yankee".
Has anyone else seen these?

In toronto our main issue right now is ideas and images the media feed to the ignornant public. Recently a man named Delroy who i have no connection with had been murdered at an annual Stop the Violence barbaque which he had held himself and community members that had lived in his complex. He was shot in the neck and in the chest. A popular Toronto News Paper The Toronto Star headlined his death as fight Against the Gunman : Two versions of a Victim. They tried to discredit his efforts of trying to make a better life for the poor communities who recently a negatively spotlighted. They brought up that he had convictions of drug possesion and traffiking dating back to 1986!!! 1986 that is 19 years ago. The bbq had over 200 attendees which the victim out of his pocket and donations of other had t-shirts printed with the message stop the violence. Police Detective John Biggerstaff said " i have reason to believe that the idea he was, say,a completely upstanding person promoting non-violence, non-drugs and non-guns is not fair".Is anyone on the planet perfect but if someone changes their life around who better to help other kids. They know the life and the dangers that come along with it.They also go on to say that the activities which could have brought him to the court yard are inconsistant with someone
promoting such ideas. No one but Delroy himself knows the intent on which he went their but why suggest something negative. He could have been their to help a kid get out of the drug game. maybe to talk someone out of something. The police inspect bill wardle goes on to say a stray bullet could have hit an innocent victim..??? innocent victim what are they implying..the police are already biased to the situation. Along with the new Mayor who decides a qick fix a hiring 150 new police officers will do the trick. They have police strolling the cities poorest communities in packs of 2-8 police officers. Despite the recent shoot outs violence in the city has been consistantley dropping. I also read an article in the star saying that they are considering improving the eduaction and providing more recreation for the youth. Why not find the root of the problem and start there rather than creating quick fixes. Why is improvement in quality of life only a response to violence and not mere capability? It has been capable back in 1994 premier Bob Rae wanted to introduce new programs of employment equity and concentrate the bulk of funding to minority organizations since most of the poor community holds the minorities.
Racial profiling which has created any problems in our city along with others across the world. A black councillor mad e a public statement advocating racial profiling. Saying that it would be okay to search every black persons vehicle. That is a statement which goes against the charter of rights and freedoms which is in our constitution. It would be under Legal Rights in section 2. Search and Seizure. If your not in pocession or in the midst of doing anything illegal what should we be worried about? Being grouped in with the ones who are. Having to worry if our style of dress or culture would implicate guilt. I am against it and have a good solution to clear it up i cannot take credit for. I credit the NDP governement in 1996 before the premeire retired suggested sensativity training, corrections staff and better education on race bias for judges. Lets follow through and clear up racial profiling.
