"Who's The Best?" you ask? Well, according to DJ Eli, Ill Bill is the best. But according to our resident bearded kitty, the best is Lord Sear, with his ode to what Biz Markie called "The Dragon." And what a powerful beast that stink is! But enough of that jibberish for which I am now famous... allow me to shut up and let Mr. Brady's record rotate. It's the only good song on his new single... but I still think he's just about the best MC around. And speaking of letting people do whatever it is they do, I have agreed to let Tak & 4Zone... muff respect to Cheapshot and DJ Revolution as well for coming with big instrumentals like "4+1", featuring DJs Craze, Infamous, and Melo-D, and the irrepressibly caustic, vitriolic, and sensational Chino XL. And speaking of the jungle, we like it "Dirty Jungle" from Jahbaz on the Heavy Loungin' compilation.

You know I try so hard to "Keep It Street" for this totally legit, street credible, underground website... but I have always been partial to "Keep It Real" -- meaning be weird and dorky -- but we'll put Illacoin up in here to give some company to our good old Cris' poppin' pals at D.I.T.C. who serve up yet another dope dope dope instrumental topped with the usual trite, yet well delivered verses. Combining BOTH a dope dope beat and some smooth and sensible flows, J. Rawls, J. Sands, and Grap Luva "Check The Clock" for all the beta wave mental states out there. And speaking of time, i've just about served mine, reviewing "Big Acts, Little Acts" like Afu-Ra.
